What changed in NoaCG

The biggest changes, about twice a week, grouped by topic. Smaller fixes land every day and are not listed here. For where NoaCG is going, see the roadmap.

Playout and Bridge

  • NoaCG Bridge is its own Windows download. Double-click it and pair your browser in one click; it remembers your CasparCG servers and connects to the last one by itself.
  • Rundowns have folders. A folder can step through its cues one by one or play its clips through, and All out clears everything on air.
  • Server clips have their own settings: what happens at the end, fades, sound level and trim. Play next runs them back to back, and a folder can loop until Out.
  • SPX exports now play on real SPX 1.2.1 and 1.4.1 servers. The production export includes a ready SPX project to copy into SPX, its rundown holding your cues.
  • In OBS, an exported overlay now plays its entrance when its scene goes on program, and its control panel can run inside OBS as a Custom Browser Dock.
  • A production can belong to a team: members add graphics from their own libraries, and a member can run the show while its creator is signed out.

Editor and templates

  • The new editor is open to try, marked Alpha: edit text, shapes and colours on the canvas, and set animation keys, steps and the exit on a timeline.
  • A Quiz Show kit in three new looks, and a standings graphic whose rows trade places as the points change.
  • SVG import keeps nested artwork, styled text and slanted shapes intact, and reads layer names written in more ways and in four more languages.
  • Kits are simpler: twelve kits with one style each, and you can edit the graphics of a kit in any order.

AI workflows

  • Create with AI now starts with your own coding agent, such as Claude Code or Codex, and the NoaCG CLI. The built-in NoaCG agent is one click away.
